Twitter, formerly known as X, removed headlines from link previews a while ago. The platform, owned by Elon Musk, took a step back in this controversial application.
Microblogging services are among the platforms most frequently used by those who want to follow the latest developments and different news sources.
However, Elon Musk’s decision to remove titles from link previews severely affected this platform feature. Fortunately, This decision, implemented on iOS and the web, did not affect Android.
Elon Musk, who owns the platform and seems to be handling the communication activities single-handedly, said in his post on his account:
“Titles will be shown again in URL cards in a soon-to-be-released version.” This means that news headlines can be seen again in posts.
Many things have changed on Twitter since Elon Musk took over. Although the most striking of these changes was undoubtedly the change of the platform’s name to X, there were also works that transformed the daily experience.
It can be said that it is a good thing that Musk, who applies a kind of “trial and error” method, does not insist on some mistakes.
