Hermetica is a group of molecular smells that were inspired by alchemy, an old art form from Florence. Hermetica is a new perfume project by Clara and John Molloy, two passionate artists who also make the high-end niche fragrance brand Memo.
It was its job to find the elixir of endless life and turn common metals into valuable ones. Hermetical’s goal is to make the perfect perfume by combining old alchemy techniques with what we know now about the chemical bond between body odor molecules and scent molecules.

Everyday Irish boy John Malloy is just like everyone else. At home and at work on a farm. As a child, he took care of horses and walked through the huge, green Irish fields. No matter what, John never gave up on the idea of making his life a real adventure. He spent his years visiting the whole world.
John Malloy ran away from the family farm, where everyone was working with leather, because he couldn’t hold back his desire to learn about other countries and ways of life. This was the start of a new life for the young man.
Andalusia is where Clara Malloy is from in Spain. A girl who can feel everything about the world around her better than anyone else. Not only does she notice the grand sights, but also the little things that are close by.
For instance, the beauty of the Eiffel Tower’s shade in Paris, the way light plays on the tops of the pine trees in Catalonia, or the way the sun shines on the snow-covered Alps. It’s strange that Clara Malloy spent most of her time publishing books and never learned how to make perfumes. Clara sees traveling as an important part of her life. She won’t be able to live fully without them. Going on trips is a big part of who she is.
These young people met about twelve years ago. After a year, they started the perfume company “MEMO” in the capital of France. The name of the company comes from the word “memories,” which means “memories.” Clara Malloy wrote The Creativity of Twenty-Two Perfumers during that time.
This book has talks with some of the most famous perfumers in the world at the time. After ten years of working in the high-end goods business, Clara wanted to make something that no one else could make.
